It was tested on real tick data with a real floating spread (with a commission) for a 15-year period from 2004 to 2019 (exactly that much tick history is available on the servers of Swiss brokers). He also passed the Monte Carlo stability test using 2000 cycles of modeling random generation of transactions, as well as a test with simulation of delay and slippage. Halo EURUSD was developed, tested and optimized strictly following the reverse sampling development methodology based on the in-sample phase (from 2015 to 2019) and the non-sample phase (from 2004 to 2014).
